TRI Australasia Pty Ltd (TRI) is a NATA and GAI-LAP accredited independent, geosynthetics laboratory providing geosynthetics testing and research services to the international community. TRI is not affiliated with any manufacturer or engineering firm, and provides services to regulators, manufacturers, engineering firms, contractors and installers.

TRI is Australia’s only geosynthetics-focused laboratory, with the capability to test the full range of geosynthetic products. Its staff have more than 20 years of industry experience and operate from a state-of-the-art facility.

TRI Australasia has the skill and means to meet a broad range of industry needs, such index and conformance verification testing, research studies, and report generation. In addition the laboratory is supported by three laboratories and large-scale testing facilities located in the US as well as the full-service laboratory in China. Together these laboratories provide extensive testing capabilities, which include geosynthetic testing, geotechnical testing, soil interaction testing, plastic pipe testing and other materials tests.

TRI has been testing and evaluating geosynthetics for over two decades and has earned a superior reputation as an internationally acclaimed, highest quality testing and research facility. Our staff are active on ASTM’s Committee D35, ISO TC 221  for geosynthetics testing, and assure the most up-to-date, testing systems and standard operating procedures.
