Geosynthetics

TRI Performs a comprehensive range of geosynthetic tests, covering GCL’s, Geomembranes, Geotextiles and Geocomposites

Geosynthetic Tests

Geotextiles

Geotextiles are textiles or fabrics, which, when used in association with soil, have the ability to separate, filter, reinforce, protect, or drain.

Geomembranes

A geomembrane is very low permeability synthetic membrane liner or barrier used to limit the movement of liquid or gas.

Geosynthetic Clay Liners

Geosynthetic clay liners (GCL’s) are composite products consisting of a thin layer of high purity clay sandwiched between two layers of geotextile.

Geogrids

Geogrids are used to reinforce soils and similar materials, commonly used to reinforce retaining walls.

Drainage Geocomposites

Drainage geocomposites are rapidly replacing gravel drainage layers in containment facilities.

Liner Protection

TRI carries out interface friction
using large scale shear box equipment to assist with slope stability analysis.
